NG9-1-1 Account Executive – Emergency Operations Solutions (EOS)

In this position, you will aggressively prospect, develop, and manage new sales accounts. You will be responsible for driving new business development and converting prospective clients into customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers while developing client and partner referrals. You will be based out of your home office.  The ideal candidate will be based out of the Midwest and conveniently located within driving distance of a major airport.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of the EOS Practice.

Experience and Skills:

Candidates are required to have a blend of experience in one or more core competencies:

  • Industry Knowledge – Public Safety, 9-1-1, Emergency Dispatch
  • Functional Knowledge – Public Safety Answering Points, E-911, NG9-1-1
  • Technical Knowledge – Next Generation 9-1-1 Standards, Voice Over IP, Contact Center Solutions
  • Proven sales experience – preferably in public safety software including 9-1-1 solutions

MicroAutomation is seeking an individual that has the desire and commitment to be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in 9-1-1.  Beyond being an expert, candidates must be a results-driven professional with the ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will have proven experience in business development, sales, and account management. This position requires individuals that are fast-paced learners and are comfortable positioning themselves as consultants with the ability to guide customers to practical solutions for relevant problems. Candidates must be able to speak with confidence and clarity and carry a conversation with C-suite executives as well as technical & functional managers, and technical delivery teams. This is a position for someone who is a goal-driven, challenge-obsessed performer.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in consultative selling and engagements
  • Experience in creating sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales goals as assigned
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills – interpersonal, informal, formal and large groups
  • Marketing & business development experience with proven results
  • Self-starter with ability to work well independently and in groups
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable tasks
  • Business acumen and results orientation
  • Expected travel up to 75%
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
