CAMA Gateway – Your E9-1-1 Center Has to be Up 24/7

The CAMA (Centralized Automatic Message Accounting) telephone protocol is typically used to deliver emergency calls to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP). CAMA calls are then converted to traditional telephony protocols for processing by the PSAP’s telephone system.

MicroAutomation’s CAMA Gateway is a JITC-certified server-class system, purpose-built to convert CAMA calls to PRI or SIP for delivery to the call taker or dispatcher.

As part of MicroAutomation’s family of E9-1-1 products, the CAMA Gateway is available with a built-in backup phone subsystem to provide basic telephone functions in the event of telephone switch failures ...because your E9-1-1 center has to be up, 24/7.
