Lead Generator

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED and SUCCESSFUL Lead Generating Professional that is a highly persuasive, consistent, patient and extremely organized who is seeking an opportunity where you can use your past experience and knowledge to support our sales team in achieving our company objectives. 

 

Primary Duties: Calling on prospects to generate a minimum of 2 sales leads/appointments per week.

National Account Executive - Direct Sales

We are seeking an outstanding National Account Executive to identify mid-market selling opportunities in our Western, Northwest and Northeast Regions. The sales representative will be responsible for the selling of MicroAutomation integration services along with products that complement the solutions that we provide.  

Primary responsibilities include: 1) Candidate must be based in the U.S. and be willing to work from a home office  2) Prospecting primarily through cold calling  3) High level of skill in consultative selling, account management, business case preparation and time management planning  4) Responsible for updating all sales activity in our internal CRM system

Requirements include: 1) Minimum three years of proven outside sales experience  2) Extensive cold calling and strategic selling experience  3) Experience in the Telecommunications, Contact Center and/or Solutions Selling industry is strongly preferred  4) Excellent and effective written & verbal communication skills along with strong presentation and sales skills are a must  5) Ability to work within all levels of the organization

Sales Engineer

We are looking for several full-time Sales Engineers (Software, IVR, Telephony, CRM, VoiceXML, Java) with software and communications experience to join our dynamic team and to share in our growth. 

You must have experience in one or more of these technologies:

  • 3+ software sales engineering experience
  • Solid understanding of VoiceXML, Java, J2EE, Web Services, SQL
  • Working knowledge of call center, IVR, CTI, Telephony market.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science

Duties include selling consultatively to senior executives and developing a deep understanding of customer business processes and technical landscape. Work in tandem with MicroAutomation Account Executives to develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations. Work with MicroAutomation staff and customer resources to develop hardware recommendations and detailed statement of work documents. Maintain and enhance MicroAutomation sales demo applications to keep up with product releases and create the best possible external image. Development of ROI models based on customer requirements and information. Lead "Proof of Concept" and "Pilot" activities with larger customers involving integration to various call center and data sources, identification and mapping of KPI's and business workflow processes, and customization of MicroAutomation solutions to demonstrate value within the customer's unique environment. Work closely with Product Management to distill marketplace requirements into product enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of Sales Engineering experience in the enterprise software marketplace. Strong technical aptitude, and experience with the following technologies: VoiceXML, Java, J2EE, SQL, Windows, Linux. Prior experience with CRM, Business Intelligence, or Call Center application companies — e.g. Avaya, Genesys, Nortel, Siemens, IEX, Aspect, Siebel, SAP, Peoplesoft, Clarify, Genesys, Cisco, Epiphany, Viecore, Nuance. A proven track record of performance in highly technical and competitive sales environments. Experience in early-stage company environments - can include new divisions within larger companies. Ability to manage multiple, complex sales opportunities simultaneously. Ability to deliver value propositions to customer's senior staff and navigate all key functions within large customer organizations (e.g. IT, Finance, Operations). Business Intelligence or Reporting Technology experience. Confident and energetic team player; professional and team-oriented. Excellent written, oral communications and presentation skills a must. Strategic thinker with a strong technical aptitude. Vertical market selling experience including Healthcare, Finance, Hospitality, Public Sector, and others. Bachelor degree in a technical field. This position requires 10-25% travel.

 

Technical

Software Developer/ Engineer
We're looking for several software developers/engineers with different skill levels with experience in one or more of these web technologies: Java/JSP, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/XML.  You must have demonstrated expertise in development and testing of front-end interfaces, middleware components, host and back-end components or other specific modules.

Duties include developing, coding, testing and debugging new software or complex enhancements to existing software; working with project managers, customers and your team mates on matters concerning functional task areas and/or customers; working with a team or independently to: understand and resolve software problems, address customer system issues, participate in design proposals and respond to suggestions for software modifications and/or enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years, or 4-7 years, or 7+ years of experience with SQL, Java/JSP, JavaScript, HTML/XML and web technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Software integration testing in the development cycle
  • IIS and Apache Web servers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people
  • Strong development skills a must
  • Self-starter who works well in a team environment

Systems Technician/Engineer

We are looking for several full-time Systems Technician/Engineers with different skill levels to join our dynamic team and to share in our growth. 

You must have experience in one or more of these technologies:

  • Speech-enabled Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platforms.
  • Installation, configuration and deployment of application/web servers.
  • Back-end database installation and configuration and metrics/reporting technologies.
  • Telecommunication (SIP, VoIP) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) technologies.
  • Operating Systems, including Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Sun Solaris or Red Hat Linux.

 

The position involves working with a team or independently to install, configure and deploy new customer systems; troubleshoot systems-related issues with existing customer solutions; and support of MicroAutomation’s internal network, systems, and desktop hardware and software.

This is a customer centric job; good communication and people skills are required. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded Windows systems administration experience and be able to learn quickly and independently, as needed, and be creative at solving new and complex problems, as well as being skilled at documentation.

IT related college degree or related experience with two plus years experience in systems administration or telecommunications is preferred. This position carries a great deal of responsibility, and a certain amount of flexibility in schedule may be needed from time to time. This position requires 10% – 20% travel.

Technical Writer

We're seeking a Technical Writer for a full-time or part-time position.  Responsibilities include interfacing with the technical staff to gather, design and architect information to create standard project life-cycle manuals including User Interface documents, Solution Design documents, User Manuals, System Administration and Installation Manuals and Acceptance Testing documents.

This position requires a strong command of the English language and an ability to understand basic technology concepts.  Candidates will be responsible for creating documents in Microsoft Word with diagrams created in Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio.  Candidates must also have familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for converting documents into their final form.  Strong communication skills and a willingness to interface with customers is required.  The position allows for flexible hours and office time if the candidate has broadband internet connectivity at home.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Proficiency in technical writing
  • Good understanding of PC computer systems
  • Comfortable with technology concepts
  • Experience in creating documentation for applications that include software/hardware specifications, configurations and specialized end-user instructions

Desired Qualifications:

  • English writing degree or certifications
  • Understanding of telecommunication, networking and database concepts
  • Familiarity with computer publishing packages

Test Analyst

The Test Analyst plans, constructs and executes simple release tests as directed by more experienced team members. The Test Analyst is responsible for gaining business and functional knowledge about the application(s) which his/her team tests.

The Test Analyst follows the testing principles, processes, methods and produces testing deliverables as defined by MicroAutomation’s software development life cycle methodology. The Test Analyst is a member of the software development team with a focus in planning, constructing, and executing unit, functional, system, and regression tests.

Responsibilities include creating test plans and scripts, developing, updating and maintaining testing standards and implementing adopted testing methodologies. The Test Analyst may also work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process

Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates must be proficient with MS Office applications. Must have experience in problem identification, solution definition and execution.

High-energy work ethic and be availability to work non-standard hours for peak work load is required. You must have excellent communication skills; and technical knowledge/background is a plus. Experience in industry standard testing methodologies and tools is preferred, but not required.


Installation Services Internship

Assist the Installation Services team in installing and configuring customer machines for deployment.  Responsibilities include ordering and accepting computer systems for customer deployments and installing, configuring, and testing the systems in MicroAutomation’s labs.   Computer systems will consist of Dell and HP Server systems with RAID controllers and either Microsoft Windows or RedHat Linux operating systems.  Employee will be responsible for installing and configuring the operating system and other OEM software, and verifying the systems meeting MicroAutomation quality standards before shipment to the customer.  Moderate travel may be required for onsite installations.

Minimum experience includes basic experience with PC computer systems and either Microsoft Windows or RedHat Linux operating systems.  Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office and Microsoft backend systems desired. MCSE desired but not required. 

This is an excellent position for a student wishing to learn about computers and telecommunications.  Student will be exposed to different operating systems and will learn how to install and configure complex Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system with Speech Recognition capabilities.  Student will also be exposed to Computer-Telephony integration products and will have an opportunity to work with popular telephone switches including Avaya, Nortel, and Siemens.
