Mr. Gursahaney founded the company in 1991 and now serves as its President. Under his guidance, MicroAutomation has become an industry leader in the provision of contact center solutions. Prior to this entrepreneurial move, Mr. Gursahaney spent more than a decade with IBM's Federal Systems Division and Application Solutions Division where he honed his program management and software development skills working on call center products, real-time control systems for an international broadcasting company, and software configuration management applications. While at IBM, he earned several IBM Quality and Outstanding Achievement Awards. In addition, his duties as program architect and design lead for the CallCoordinator and DirectTalk products resulted in five worldwide technology patents for IBM. Mr. Gursahaney received a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Mr. Abernathy has over ten years of experience with voice and data technology in both sales and marketing roles. Mr. Abernathy brings a wealth of experience from industry-leading companies, such as Siemens Communications. His past accomplishments include working as the Chair of the Information Technology and Telecommunications Committee of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and Chair of the Marketing Program Advisory Committee for Northern Virginia Community College. Mr. Abernathy has also worked with George Mason University to review their MS program in the Telecom industry.
Mr. Paul has over 20 years of professional management, consulting and engineering experience in both mature and high growth technology companies and holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Paul brings his wealth of experiences at companies such USConnect, Data General, Digital Equipment and Westinghouse to his role of overseeing the effective and successful development and implementation of solutions for MicroAutomation’s growing customer base.
Mr. Ciskanik is responsible for the Accounting/Finance Department at MicroAutomation, and has over 14 years of Accounting/Finance experience. Prior to taking over as Controller in November of 2004, Mr. Ciskanik worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at the National Headquarters of the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. His experience includes Financial Accounting and Reporting as well as Project Accounting and statistical analysis. In addition to a B.S. Degree from the University of Johnson & Wales, Mr. Ciskanik completed his accounting studies at the University of Virginia.
