Centreville, VA, August 15, 2011 - MicroAutomation, a leading systems integrator of call center automation solutions, has announced the appointment of Doug Bowlds to the position of Sr. Director of Solutions Delivery. Doug comes to MicroAutomation with vast experience of more than 25 years in the Information Technology field with the past 12 years focused on Unified Communications.

Doug was an early adopter and supporter of Voice over IP/convergence technologies, his background includes many roles within technology application delivery. He has invented, architected, developed, marketed and vended innovative public safety solutions to Federal and Local Government clients as well as private industry. In addition, Doug’s extensive background includes network and systems engineering, project management, professional consulting services management, and technical program development and support. Doug personally led the development of technical solutions which have resulted in over $1B in Federal awards to the organizations he has served.
