Software Engineer

Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following: C++, Java/JSP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/XML, MVC technology and other web technologies. Candidates should have experience coding to APIs of vendor products. Candidates JAVA experience should include client-server programming, advanced concepts such as exceptions, assertions, and threads, developing user interfaces in Swing, and data structures. Candidates should be able to demonstrate skill level expertise in development and testing of front-end interfaces, middleware components, host and back-end components or other specific modules. Candidate should demonstrate ability to understand hardware components of solutions and how integrates with software applications.

This is a full time opportunity to work in a progressive environment supporting critical application development projects for various industry clients.

Duties Include:

Your duties will include developing new software application systems or develop complex solutions in conjunction with hardware development and knowledge. You will need to provide analysis to software design as well as solve problems encountered with design related to software and hardware. You will assist in creating test plans, executing test plans, debugging software issues for enhancements or existing systems. You will be working with project managers, customers and your team mates on matters concerning functional task areas and/or customers.

You will be working with a team or independently to: understand and resolve software problems, address customer system issues, participate in design and proposals, and respond to suggestions for software modifications and/or enhancements, communicate requirements or issues to project managers and customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 6+ years of experience with C/++, SQL, Java/JSP, JavaScript, HTML/XML, and web technologies
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Software Engineering
  • Experience with client server programming
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Software integration testing experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people
  • Strong development skills
